Plans for the 2009 MAHA show May 22-24 are in the final phases, and it promises to be another great event. Please check out the premium list and other information regarding details of the show on our website. If you can’t download the document, call me and one will be sent to you.
Changes in the show this year include addition of a Junior Jackpot Reining and a Senior Jackpot Reining for which there will be cash prize, as well as a repeat of the popular Gambler’s Choice Trail class also with a cash prize. There will be a dinner Friday night and Saturday night with all competitors and guests invited to both.
Now is the time to let us know if you would like to work on the show or be a sponsor. Please contact me at any time at my email address or telephone. We need lots of help and contributions, as always, but mostly, we need YOU there to enjoy the event!
PLEASE NOTE: The work night to set up for the show will be at the Super Barn on Tuesday night, May 19, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to come. In the past, the work night has been on Wednesday night rather than Tuesday, but we found that with increasing the show to three full days, we need to have the cleanup a day sooner to get everything done.
Lastly, as stated in the February newsletter, MAHA needs to add members. Our goal is to add at least 40 Adult members as well as additional Youth members. A number of new people already have joined, and THANKS to each of you. Please keep encouraging new people and family members to join. The best way is on the AHA website, and when joining be sure to click on the Montana Arabian Horse Association, Club #6072, as your local affiliation. Linda Cebull is our membership chairman, and you may contact her or myself at any time with questions.
Hope all of you are having a wonderful Spring and enjoying your precious horses.
Lee Anderson, President
